Packing is one of the biggest jobs of any move and it is the part most people put off. Our packing team can take it off your hands, whether you want help with the full pack, just the breakables, or somewhere in between. We have been doing this since 2002 from our base in Houghton Regis, and we work with home movers and businesses across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London.
Our packing service is for anyone who wants the move to feel less rushed. That covers families packing up a house, downsizers, landlords clearing a let, and businesses moving offices or stock. We can pack everything for you, give you a hand with the rooms you have not got round to, or just take care of the fragile items so nothing gets damaged in transit. We bring our own materials, work to your timeline, and you do not have to do a thing other than tell us where things go in the new place.
With a full pack, our team comes in before moving day and packs the whole property for you. We bring boxes, wrapping and tape, work room by room, and label everything by destination room so unloading is straightforward. It is the option most people pick when the move is large, time is tight, or they would rather hand the whole thing over and stay out of the way. What a full pack covers:
Some people are happy to pack the books, the wardrobe and the kitchen cupboards themselves, but want a hand with the awkward bits. Our part pack lets you choose the rooms or items you want help with, and we do the rest. It is a smaller scope than the full pack and works well if you have time to do some of it yourself but want a professional hand with anything tricky.
Common part-pack jobs:
Fragile packing is the bit that goes wrong most often when people pack themselves, and it is also the bit you cannot easily replace. Our team wraps and boxes glassware, ornaments, kitchen items and other delicate pieces using proper packing paper, bubble wrap and the right size box for the contents. We can do fragile-only packing as a standalone job or roll it into a full or part pack.
