Alltime Removals has run on-site storage from our Houghton Regis depot since 2002. Individually alarmed units available by the cubic foot, with 24-hour access seven days a week and no fixed contract length. Bridging storage between completion dates, longer arrangements while a new property is prepared, or business storage during a phased office move. Our Simple Storage Solutions fit around your timeline rather than the other way around.
Short-term storage at our Dunstable depot is available from a single week upward. Customers who need a temporary home for their furniture, boxes, or business equipment while a move completes typically take a unit for two to eight weeks.
What short-term storage covers:
Units are priced by cubic foot, so you pay for the space you actually use. Our advisers measure your volume at the same survey visit used for the removal, so there are no surprises when you arrive.
Being clear about what falls outside the service saves problems later:
Vehicle storage — we do not store cars, motorcycles, or other vehicles at the depot.
Hazardous materials — flammable liquids, pressurised canisters, and similar items cannot be stored under our standard rental terms.
Man-and-van or self-drop — our model is survey-led. We collect and deliver. Customers cannot drive up unannounced and fill a unit without a prior booking and inventory.
Building-site clearance — rubbish clearance and certified disposal is a separate service. Ask an adviser if you need both at the same time.

Furniture is the highest-risk category for storage damage, and we pack it accordingly. Sofas, beds, wardrobes, dining tables, and other large items travel wrapped in our Defenda Guard protective covers — the same covers used on move day — before going into the unit.
Bed frames and flat-pack items are dismantled by our team if needed before storage and reassembled when you collect or when we deliver back to your property. For customers who want a full pack-and-store service, we can also box up the contents of each room to a labelled, room-by-room plan so unpacking at the end is straightforward. Office moves rarely run to a single clean handover date. Equipment arrives before the fit-out finishes, files need somewhere secure while IT infrastructure is moved, and a phased relocation often means one floor is operational while another is still being cleared. Our business storage handles that middle period.
What we store for commercial customers:
For commercial moves, an estimator visits the site, notes access for loading vehicles, and builds the storage element into the same written quote as the relocation. We cover across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and north-west London.

Storage is priced by cubic foot rather than by a fixed room count or unit size tier. Our advisers measure your volume at the survey visit and give you a written figure as part of the overall move quote. Because the price reflects your actual space rather than an estimated category, you avoid paying for capacity you are not using.
Yes. The depot at Houghton Regis, Dunstable is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each unit has its own individual alarm, and you can visit at any time during your rental period without booking in advance.
Rental runs short or long term with no fixed minimum or maximum period. Some customers store for a week between completion dates; others keep a unit for six months or more while an overseas move or building project resolves. There is no penalty for finishing early once the agreed notice is given.
Our standard model is survey-led removals and storage handled together, but if you have a specific situation, a partial clear, items you want moved into storage without a full house move, speak to an adviser. Nothing is a problem for us, and we will tell you honestly if it falls inside what we can do.
Yes. Items going into storage are wrapped in our Defenda Guard protective covers before they are placed in the unit. Large items of furniture are either left fully assembled or dismantled and wrapped flat, depending on what takes up less space and causes less risk. The unit itself is individually alarmed throughout your rental.
