Which Windsor Neighbourhoods Are Trickiest for Access?

Eton sits directly across the Thames. Removal vans cannot cross Windsor Bridge. The practical route is via the A332 through Slough, which adds time. Eton High Street is narrow with limited stopping points, so loading needs to be coordinated around school and tourist traffic, particularly during term time.
Datchet is accessible by road via the B376, but the village centre has limited kerbside loading space. Properties on the green and around the older lanes benefit from early-morning starts before commuter and school-run traffic builds.
Clewer covers a wide area from Clewer Village, with tight residential streets near the River Mead, through to newer estates closer to the A332. The older lanes around Clewer Village require smaller vehicles or careful parking coordination.
Old Windsor has a mix of large detached homes with good driveway access and older riverside properties where access from St Luke’s Road or Straight Road can be tight. Our advisers flag any restrictions during the survey.
